Director of Public Relations

As Director of Public Relations, Tamar Burton brings to Elephant Group, Inc. experience from various fields. Ms. Burton has completed degrees in both Finance and SLD Education. After six years teaching Varying Disabilities to Middle School students and developing curriculum for HIV Education for Dade County Schools, Ms. Burton returned to business focus to work as a Financial Advisor for AIG/VALIC.

Ms. Burton later joined Casa Casuarina, members-only club and former residence of Gianni Versace, as the Membership Director. Here she would assist all in-house events, fundraisers and private functions in conjunction with Barton G., an event production industry leader, and the Casa’s NewYork  P.R. firm.

In 2004, prior to the opening of the Elephant Group, Inc. corporate headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale, Ms. Burton freelanced as a consultant focusing on Incentive Travel and Corporate Meetings for Elephant Group, Inc. Ms. Burton will continue to play an instrumental role in designing the corporate image and voice in addition to company events, trade show promotions, branding initiatives and helming all PR and events for Saveology.com™  – the newly rebranded consumer comparison-shopping portal of Elephant Group, Inc.
